After pressing ENTER is there anything shown in the status bar?
No
Please make sure there's no invisible space at the start.
No Spaces
What version of Everything 1.4 are you using?
Version 1.4.1.1023 (x64)

I tried updating to "Everything-1.4.1.1024.x64-Setup.exe" got the following error on 2 different stations,I ran the exe as admin

(V1.5 did show the change\update in the status bar)
