Thanks for the about:keys information.

Everything enters a dialog modal when renaming.
Keyboard shortcuts are not allowed while in this dialog modal.



I will consider allowing Ctrl + T or Ctrl + N inside a rename.

Thank you for the suggestion.



For now, either commit the rename (Enter) or cancel the rename (ESC), then perform your keyboard shortcut. (eg: Ctrl + T for new tab)
