My list (for now):

File Manager: Q-Dir
Quite limited, but most of the time enough.
Still in the process of making Directory Opus my default file manager. In my opinion the most powerful file manager out there.

Browser: Firefox
Highly configurable. Browsing without any advertisements

Editor: Notepad++
Needed something better than Notepad and stuck with NPP. There might be better editors out there, don't know.
Tried Visual Studio Code a while. Half a GB to edit PowerShell scripts :-( Very slow to start too.
Also emeditor, because of support for large files and regex. Incredibly fast!

Video player: VLC
Also: mpv.net

Audio player: Winyl
Minimalistic but powerful. Fast!
Also: foobar2000 (SACD rips, format conversions) and MusicBee (remaining time of playlists)

Image viewer: voidimageviewer
Minimalistic, no-nonsense, fast. All I need (but don't have many requirements)

GeheimTipp:
- CodeQuickTester. Test and run AutoHotKey code without compiling first.
- Expand-ScriptAlias. PowerShell script to convert command aliases to their full commands ( dir => Get-ChildItem).
- Resplendar Registrar Registry Manager. Advanced registry editor. Free version available.

Other:
Process Monitor - Probably my favourite tool. Learnt so much about the inner workings of Windows by using it ..
AutoHotKey
Insted - Open MSI's for inspection
Textify
UniExtract - extract installers for inspection, testing and to create my own portable versions of apps
DontSleep - Keeps system from falling to sleep / standby, for example when copying many folders.
