Everything 1.5 Alpha • Re: Can't select multiple Chinese characters after 1385a

Everything 1.5.0.1386a improves word selection.

I have reverted to the previous "Everything" double click word select.

This Everything word select method will now also apply to Ctrl + Left, Ctrl + Right, Ctrl + Shift + Left and Ctrl + Shift + Right.



To change the word select method to the System word select:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Advanced tab on the left.
• To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
  word
• Select: edit_word_select
• Set the value to: (Use default)
• Click OK.

To disable selecting the trailing punctuation on Ctrl + Left / Ctrl + Right:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Advanced tab on the left.
• To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
  word
• Select: edit_word_select_trailing_punctuation
• Set the value to: false
• Click OK.
